Message: Well it has taken me a few years but I have finely tracked down Jack (Polley) Spinney. He lives in Port Sulphur, LA. Owns a diving business and said he is doing fine. He has no computer, said he was going out to buy one right now, so right now he doesn't have an email address. He said I could give out his cell number for anyone who wants to call him. 503-453-0833. If we have a reunion in 2010 he wants to come.

Michaelson was born the sixth son in St. Charles, Idaho on November 4, 1923. He passed away on June 21, 2008 in Oxnard. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, four children, twelve grandchildren and six great –grandchildren. Growing up in St. Charles, Mont graduated from Fielding High in Paris, Idaho in 1942 and entered the military. He served in WWII with the 71st Infantry Division- Europe and was involved in the liberation of the Gunskirchen Lager Concentration Camp. After the war he attended Utah State University and received his BA. In college he met Patricia Jackson and they were married in 1952. Hired in 1953 as a teacher for Oxnard High School, Mont later worked as boys Vice Principle. During this time Mont attended USC and received his Masters in Education. Demolition of several classroom buildings at the old Oxnard High School will begin Monday and continue for the next four months. That means the football field, track and bleachers at the site will be out of bounds for safety reasons during the work, said city spokeswoman Christina Aerenlund. The land cleared by the demolition will eventually become part of the future Campus Park, she said. There is no timetable or budget for developing the park.
